switch again

ok this time its done im switching my project for the last time im going to follow my self with a camera and show everyone what my life is like the new blog is marcopaterniti.blogspot.com

i have decided on my main focus for my biking segment my whole idea is to take pictures of the project of getting a bike and putting parts on it as i go it should be alot better then my original plan i should have pictures up by tomorrow or wednesday

due to unforeseen circumstances i have been forced to change the aim of my part in the vanguard project since i have come down sick i cant go snowboarding because of this i have decided to change the focus to biking as of now my bike has a flat tire and the crank is kind of messed up next week i plan to put a specialized fuse on layaway while i am paying it off i will tgake pictures of my friends biking and having a good time in the process

1.this series is about prisoners in Louisiana
2.it came about when her mother was murdered she went to 3 jails and took pictures of inmates and asks for people to see beyond thier crimes
3.it is journalistic because its showing inmates that are locked up for any reason and she tries to show that they are people too
4.no part of this series makes me uncomfortable but i have alot of respect for her to be able to photograph the same kind of people that killed her mother and ask people to see through thier crimes
5.if i were to try to improve the series i might add a couple more pictures but not more then 5 or so
6. i could compare this story to one of my friends going to jail even though his crime wasnt as harsh as murder he still went to jail and could end up being the next one photographed

as anyone reading this may know i have a proposal but i havent said exactly how im going to do it. that is why im posting now, my first few pictures will be taken tonight at holiday valley. im going to take pictures of snowboarders doing their thing on the slope and in the lodge. when i go to work on friday im going to get a few of the workers that snowboard hard at work. more updates soon to come.

my idea for the vanguard project is a snowboard theme for now. since alot of people think that snowboarders are jerks and druggies. im going to try to prove that snowboarders are just regular people with one ski instead of two.
